How information moves through Terrain’s website and what happens when you get in touch.

Information used by this website

You can browse without an account. The website does not ask you to upload files or connect your business systems.

The hosting service, Vercel, receives technical information needed to deliver the website, such as your IP address, requested pages, and browser or device details. Hosting and security records are separate from the information you choose to send in an inquiry.

When you contact Terrain

The contact form asks for your name, work email, an inquiry topic, and project details. Phone and company are optional. The page uses those fields to prepare an email draft in your email app; it does not submit the fields to a Terrain web form service.

Review the draft before sending it. If you send an email or call, Terrain receives the information you provide and uses it to respond, discuss possible work, and manage the correspondence. Your email or telephone provider also processes the communication under its own terms.

Retention and requests

The appropriate retention of inquiry correspondence depends on its purpose, any resulting engagement, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. This website does not provide an account or a self-service deletion tool.

To ask what inquiry information Terrain holds about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email Andrew. Include enough context to locate the correspondence, but do not send identity documents or sensitive personal information in the initial request. Depending on your location and the circumstances, applicable law may provide additional rights.

Client files and AI implementation

This website notice is not a data-processing agreement for client work. Before client information is shared or a system is connected, the engagement needs to define authorized use, access, the selected services, and retention or deletion arrangements.

Provider terms vary by product and plan. Uploading a file to an AI service, permitting model training, and using a document as a workflow reference are different activities. None is authorized simply by contacting Terrain.
